oneunitofenergyoneunitofoutput
“one unit of energy one unit of output”, “two ideas two actions”, “three units of input three units of stability”, “four units of decision four units of operation” – the lettered rings designed by Liam Gillick that ring the pillars at the entrance to the Lufthansa Aviation Center seem like abstract models of entrepreneurial activity. They revolve around key words like energy and output, idea and action, but leave open the context to which they refer. Positioned in front of the LAC, they open up an area of potential decisions and actions to which the visitor must relate.
