| Cerith Wyn Evans’ work “Intervention” is located in the Beach atrium. His light installation creates a direct relationship between the interior of the building and the outside world.
Lufthansa’s global network is the point of departure for Cerith Wyn Evans’ light installation. Just as the different routes fan out in a global network right across the continents, in Wyn Evans’ work Lufthansa’s destinations form a web of light points suspended like a giant chandelier in one of the atriums. The structure is defined not so much by the departure and arrival points but by the journey time and the time spent travelling through an immaterial place becomes a luminous signal in the open space.
